Truckee Donner Lodge

It was surely a good stay for the price. We were in an ideal and easy location not too far from Coldstream Valley. The hotel itself was in a beautiful area.

The queen room we had was brand-new.

I thought the value was great. At a time when many properties are cutting back on breakfast, I was delighted to see that you still include bacon. I would like to have had some kind of potatoes instead. Oven cooked bacon would not have been my choice. Nice try anyway.

I got amazing breakfasts with very many healthy options, muffins to scrambled eggs plus gravy. The rooms were nicely furnished and the staff were very amiable! The location turned out to be convenient and easy, short walk to Donner Lake and Oldtown Truckee.

The room was very small, for me personally.

Great location, good price for the area, clean and friendly

Stayed one night as we were on the way to Reno for the Street Vibrations event. Staff was friendly which was needed after a long motorcycle ride. Front desk advised me of how I could park my motorcycle close to the front evry nice touch. Breakfast was good and area maitained. Missed out on the daily cookies at 4PM since we arrived at night but overall nice large clean room.

not much. rooms were clean and bed was fine. toilet and coffee maker did not work. morning coffee was horrible. fire alarms went off. drapes could not be closed allowing people to see in and morning light, was on first floor

a decent stay with room for improvement

The queen room was clean and well-maintained, important for families. Breakfast had a good variety, catered by a friendly staff member who added a nice touch to our mornings.

The location, while convenient, had basic amenities around it.

The breakfast !! Not your usual rools and juice, both morning it was delious, especially the cripy bacon, yum. The room was clean and very nicely furnished...and quiet !

This hotel is great, and has wi-fi, a seasonal outdoor pool, and 24-hour reception. The staff helped me find a hiking trail on my first visit, which I always remember. I recommend it for a comfortable stay.

The rooms are too warm, styrofoam plates melt with a piece roared bread on it. Not environmentally friendly material.

We had a large, clean room that was relatively well-maintained, and it was reasonably priced, given that this is a resort area.

It was very difficult to get in touch with anyone at the front desk. We wanted to watch a movie. There was no DVD player, no cable movies, and no hotel movie rentals.

Clean rooms, good breakfast but damp smell in the fridge area.

Room walls were thin. Concern about highway noise for rooms next to highway.
